Jahi Simbai serves as the Senior Manager of Workforce Development and University Partnerships in Human Resources at NREL, focusing on K-12 education and outreach, internships, postdoctoral engagement, and partnering with the academic community. Prior to NREL, Jahi was the Assistant Dean, Office of Graduate Studies at Colorado School of Mines. Earlier in his career, Jahi worked as a structural analyst for Ball Aerospace. Jahi holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an MBA from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Currently, Simbai serves as a board member for Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) representing Congressional District 7.
