Designing Systems Around People

Strong education-to-workforce systems begin with the people they are intended to serve. The Attainment Network helps partners design career pathways and experiences that reflect the needs, aspirations, and lived experiences of learners and earners while remaining responsive to employer demand and regional workforce priorities.

By integrating learner perspectives throughout planning, implementation, and continuous improvement, we help create clear pathways to in-demand careers and economic mobility.

Understanding Learner and Earner Experiences

Designing effective pathways begins with understanding how people actually experience them. We work with partners to consider the perspectives of learners and earners alongside educators, employers, and community organizations —  identifying barriers, opportunities, and moments that matter.

These insights help shape programs, advising, and systems that better support successful transitions.

Improving Pathways Over Time

Designing effective pathways is an ongoing process. We help partners use learner feedback, implementation experience, and outcome data to continuously improve programs and systems. By pairing learner experiences with employer demand signals and regional workforce priorities, we support pathways that remain relevant, equitable, and responsive as community needs evolve.
