Each session features expert perspectives, real-world examples, and interactive discussion designed to help participants translate ideas into action.
Sessions are free and open to educators, workforce leaders, policymakers, employers, community organizations, and others committed to expanding opportunity and economic mobility for learners and earners.

Career Navigation: Centering Purpose, Belonging, and Social Capital Building
Monday, March 30 | Noon to 1 p.m.
Strong career navigation helps learners connect education-to-career goals while also building a sense of purpose, belonging, and access to social capital that supports long-term success. This session explores emerging research on purpose development and examines how organizations are incorporating these ideas into career-connected learning and advising programs.
Participants will engage with leaders working directly with learners and educators to build advising systems that help learners and earners connect their education, interests, and future goals.

Pathways & Career Navigation: Insights from the Purposeful Pathways Commission

Across the country, leaders are rethinking how career pathways and advising systems can better support learners in navigating education and employment.
This session explores insights from the Commission on Purposeful Pathways Report: A Launchpad for Life - A Vision for Purposeful Pathways for all Students, highlighting emerging recommendations for strengthening career navigation systems. Participants will discuss how these ideas align with Colorado’s ongoing efforts to improve advising, expand career pathways, and support economic mobility.

L/Earners Leading: Centering Learner Voice in Career-Connected Learning
Learners and earners bring critical insights into how education and workforce systems actually function.
This interactive session highlights the power of learner and earner voices through a series of short Ted Talk-style presentations from learners and earners sharing their own experiences navigating education and career pathways. Our presenters are leading the way with development of programs and policies that support career-connected Learning outcomes.
Participants will also engage in facilitated discussion and breakout conversations exploring how organizations can more authentically incorporate learner voice into program design, policy, and practice.

Apprenticeships for All: A Model for Continuous Improvement
Employers are leading the way in the design of apprenticeships that work for all apprentices.
Learn from the experiences of employers who participated in a three-month continuous improvement process with Emily Griffith Technical College about how they identified a challenge in their apprenticeship program and took clear, actionable steps to improve their programs.
Utilizing the Apprenticeships for All starter questionnaire and associated workbook employers learned and executed a continuous improvement process designed to support the success of their apprenticeship programs and apprentices.
